Seller Terms

Eligibility and independence

You must be at least 18 years old to operate a seller account. TownFare sellers operate independently and are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of TownFare.

Seller responsibility

By publishing a listing, you represent that the listing is accurate, lawful, authorized, and that you have any permits, licenses, registrations, insurance, approvals, or certifications legally required for your activity.

TownFare approval does not mean TownFare has inspected, certified, licensed, or endorsed you or your offering.

Business obligations

• Accurately represent what you offer and honor material terms communicated to customers.
• Clearly communicate prices, deposits, availability, deadlines, quantities, pickup windows, package inclusions, refund terms, and significant limitations when applicable.
• Do not falsely claim licensing, certification, credentials, affiliation, product origin, availability, or experience.
• You are responsible for applicable taxes, permits, food-safety requirements, insurance, payment arrangements, refunds, pickup/delivery, and fulfillment.

Home-based businesses

TownFare supports lawful home-based sellers. You do not have to publicly expose a private residential address merely to appear in discovery. TownFare may privately request information where needed for verification, safety, legal compliance, or regulatory obligations.

Enforcement

TownFare may request corrections, issue warnings, hide or remove listings, temporarily restrict features, suspend accounts, or permanently ban accounts depending on the nature and seriousness of a violation.
